Guest guest
Dear Maureen, My suggestion to you would be to do Durga Puja for the 9 days of Navaratri. We have a beginner Durga puja available thorugh our website. If people are interested we could have an online beginner Durga puja class before Navaratri. If anyone is interested please let me know. Also, in answer to the other Navaratri question: There are 4 Navaratris thorughout the year. Two bigger ones are in the fall and spring and two smaller ones are in the winter and summer. But you can make your own navaratri by starting a sankalpa on the day 1 of the moon cycle until day 9 of the moon cycle or start your sankalpa on day 6 of the moon cycle until day 15 of the moon cycle. This would complete 9 days. Nava means nine and navaratri means nine nights. This could be repeated in either the bright or dark fortnight. You could celebrate Navaratri all year! Guest guest
<*Waving my hand in the air> I would like an Online Class on durga puja! I have the Chandi Path book for it is quite a lot, and need to break it down. Swamaji's classes online have been quite interesting and I've appreciate them. What a generous gift.
