Sorry for so many questions ... hopefully the answers will benefit

more than just me.

The question ... if Shree Maa said to pray for somebody ... what

would that mean?

I understand the intent, and the feeling tone, and how to pray for

someone ... the question is, specifically how does one do that in

regards to the Chandi Path ... is there is a specific prayer,

mantra, deity, etc.?

The Chandi kavacha has a verse which says "bhAryAM rakShatu

bhairavI" meaning may Bhairavi protect my wife. It asks MahaLakshmi

to protect one's children where it says "putrAn.h

rakShenmahAlakShmI..." although putra mean son, I guess putrAn.h can

be thought of as collective of sons, daughters etc.

In another chapter(12 or 13?) it is mentioned that those who

recites Chandi Path will not experience departure from loved ones.

Am not sure how one can specifically pray for friends and others

explicitly using Chandi Path.

Actually a strong intent is the heart is enough as Her being

antaryami(indweller of all beings) knows what one desires.

Let us hear from others too.

Chandi Kavacha is such a wonderful Kavacha.

It also has something which says "pashUn.h rakSha caNDike"

Meaning, may Chandi protect my pashus i.e beasts which actually

means cows etc, since they are considered wealth in ancient

India.May be one can think of pets(not dogs-but not sure though) in

today's world.

In the kavacha phala shruti(listing of benefits that accrue by

recital), it has a statement saying that antarikShacara s wont harm

the reciter of this kavacha. antarikShacara means a being who

inhabits/roams in space. Maybe one can think of an antrikShacara as

alien, if one beleives in aliens and is afraid of them.
