When something that severe happens while at the Mandir, is it possible to take the problem to Shree Maa or Swamiji? Ask for their help or permission to wait until your are more able, before you try to tough it out on your own? That would be better that starting and having to stop. Something that might help with the headaches....if you touch the very top of your ear, inside the lip, and trace it around the first curve in the cartlidge, going toward the front, and stop ,just past the curve, there is a little notch there...if you press on it for 8-10 seconds, with good pressure, it will relax the muscles in your neck on the corresponding side. Guest guest Posted March 17, 2004 Report Share Posted March 17, 2004 Dear Latha ma Found something while I was reading Sri Aurobindo which is relevant to your 'problem': "A timely sparing of the physical system when there is an indication of overstrain is often necessary before the Shakti has taken perfect possession of the more external parts of the adhara or the vijnana-will is strong enough to set right at once the weakenings and disturbances". i.e. it might be advisable to spare yourself until such time as the Shakti in you develops to the point when it is strong enough to 'set right' such disturbances. With Sri Ma or Swamiji their vijnana shakti is so strong that such disturbances will not bother them, that might not be true for all of us aspirants.
