This book I received in the mail and am using to some success:

Sanskrit Workbook: Learning the Alphabet by Thomas Egenes.

This is published by Maharshi University, so some of you might

already be familiar with his work.

The book is nice and simple. A child could use it. It has the

directional flow the pen should take to write letters. It also has

pronunciation and other things. Very usable.

The one thing he does not show is, how to handle the long cross bar

when joining letters, or at least, I have not found it yet.

I acquired mine used at Amazon. Don't pay a whole lot for this book,

some people are taking advantage of the fact it is a little hard to

find and charging $150 ... it should cost $20 or so, used.

Thank you, Steve, for this source. I would like to start learning to write the
