".....Actually Apr 5 is according to most. Apr 4 is Mahavir

Jayanti. I wish it was the other way around...."

Hmmmm....what to do??? I have a calendar saying: Lord Hanumanji's

birthday: Full Moon...begins April 4th...ends April 5th. This is

from North India. Then the local Temple in Ashland, MA (South India)

is celebrating, also, on April 4th...but I do not have the exact

timings...Did you have those??? Thanks,

to be perfectly safe, celebrate each day.

or better yet, regard every day as hanuman's birthday.

oh hanuman ... he always works on his birthday, you can't stop him

from working.

isn't this all a date based on the full moon, is that affected by

geography? i missed that class.

;-)

Yes. Time for a refreshing swim in the waters of "Lake Berrysea".

(I'm going to have to study lots of stuff here, and at website, to

know what's up--terminology and all that.) I need a break from you

know where, I guess.

And just for the record, I am certainly not a "mahamuni". He is one

of the two centers of my devotion, so even my email is named for Him.

Though I don't care what anyone calls me, the "spiritual" name I was given is Surya.

mike, this is a positive zone, i think you will enjoy everyone here,

and the topic. latha is the web meistress, and she is also a good

sport and a teacher as well.

the thing is, shree maa and swamiji especially like questions. this

way a relationship develops. very nice. swamiji is a WEALTH of

information on puja, mantra, and much, much, more. any questions,

either latha can respond, or she might forward to swamiji.

it's all about worship of the goddess in her many manifestations.

some of the folks here have tons of devotional experience, either

with the chandi path, or their own investigations, or both.

also very cool, there are posters from india, brazil, all over.

even if you don't know much at all, like me, it's great to be here.

Good! (And thanks.) I've already started studying what's at the

website. ('Course Ive been there before. Even printed out that talk

on dealing with sexual energies, about a month ago.) Pujas, mantras:

very basic things I'd like to "incorporate" into the "daily routine".

I like the reference to the rishis and sadhus.......also, a definite

sign of this being a positive zone. But, I already knew that from a

brief "shiva/ratri" visit to Devi Mandir itself, so there you have it.
