Guest guest
Diminish time spent doing useless things. Take joy in being radiant and active in duality, as service to Shiva, Durga, Maa. Schedule more and more time for puja, quietude, reflection, etc. When falling to sleep, pray for others, ask Maa for help. Love, love, love. Give of yourself. Let yourself be inspired by the good nature of other devotees, of any place, any time. Feel a leaf, or see an animal, and think, "this is Her, too." Think at the end of the day: did i do good? Never is this an opportunity for self-deprecation. Think of her. How is it that she is so kind? I wish to be with her. Understand the Guru Gita. Make everything Guru Seva, and contemplate Swamiji's words around the natural inclination to learn about the One you love, and follow through. Also, the advice on thinking, "how can I make life a little better for the Guru?" All as Guru Seva makes one more inclined towards an open heart, the relationship then becomes real, and alive, renewed, we are then maintaining the passion in worship. The passion can be thought of as shakti. What is wonderful about the aspect of passion is, it is not only ourselves, but the object of desire, in this case union, the Divine Mother. Peace!
