Guest guest
ah yes sir bingo. but it is even more than that, because you omitted the aspect of grace, although you inferred it by the infinite will. the mother creates both the maya and the resolution of difficulties. so there is much of the infinite goodness that appears to happen magically, at any rate, it is beyond our dualistic minds to comprehend, but not beyond our hearts to revel in!!!!! stillness, stillness, maa, lead me deeper, far deeper, as is you will. love, steve , "bingo_ridley" <sconnor@a...> wrote: > one gets happy eventually, doing the sadhana, with passion, > hopefully as soon as possible. > > the turning of this wheel, and the increasing flow of energy that > emanates, is based on the principle this happiness is not normal > happiness, but is one based on truth. > > not happiness only ... but happiness reliant on truth ... it is a by- > product of the sadhana ... the sadhana is living truth, the > happiness is a result of that well-executed, minimal, inspired, > devotional, focused, action. > > so we don't chase the happiness itself, we chase the truth via > sadhana, and the happiness is a natural consequence, following some > divine pattern or rules set by the infinite will. > > om shalom! love to all! > > steve c. Guest guest
Sit for a Chandi and at its end elixir flows. So then without getting up you might sit through to a second Chandi which then generates the energy to sit for a third all in one asanna. That is what happens with puja. It creates focus and it builds upon itself. After finally getting up from a string of Chandies it feels as if you are setting foot on a new planet. This is true of others pujas too. The Rudri is tons of fun to do. Kali and Laksmi pujas come with their own rewards. Yes, do a puja and at its conclusion, it all makes sense in a realm of hightened perception. Guest guest
Wherever a sankalpa is fulfilled, the energy comes for which to form and carry out the next sankalpa. This could be done with a group, alone, in India or stateside. Kashi, Uttarkashi, Brindinath are fine places, but so are your Blueridge Mountains and the Shenendoa Valley. The Goddess is pervasive. She will reach you. Take your vow, fulfill it and she will come. I did mine in a shady grove along the California shore and all alone a great number of times. I recited right out of the Devi Mandir books which have done more for me in these last four years than anything else I had ever encountered in 33 years of aspiration previous to discovering the Devi Mandir in October 1999. So there you have it, Steve. You might be just beginning, but you are off to a very strong beginning. More importantly, you've come to the right place where there is marvelous teaching. Guest guest
rudran2 awesome awesome awesome. i have the same experience, many many years of study that was uneven. now shree maa and swamiji ... they are such a perfect pairing for me, inspiration that is deep [the heat] and very, very specific sahdanas [i need to DO SOMETHING with my spiritual existence, not simply be in a non-dual mode that is not 100% alive.] and even that sadhana does not appear to be restrictive, there is plenty of room to develop organically, use our own inspiration. finally, finally. at first i thought, why did it take so long? then, maybe, i was not so unambiguous in my thoughts finally, i asked god more clearly for what i wanted and needed, and that is, an authentic teaching and teaching, alive today, to help me. thanks so much for being a fellow traveler rudran2. s , "rudran2" <stechiekov> wrote: > Wherever a sankalpa is fulfilled, the energy comes for which to form > and carry out the next sankalpa.
