It offers nice insights into both the personalities and the attainments/experience of both Maa and Swamiji. You might have met me and know me as Jyoti! I have read Steven's book "Before Becoming This" and can't say enough wonderful things about it! I carry it with me almost everywhere and have given several copies to special friends. All of the chapters are very profound, yet quite readable and filled with light. They are very pleasant to read! Chapters on the incredible gift that Maa and Swamiji are to us, as well as the essence of their teachings are magical. I have gotten into states of bliss reading this book; their darshan definitely comes through! The chapter on "Relationships" is what I showed my favored date last summer, and he liked it so much that we have tried to "live that relationship of Shiva and Shakti" and we are now engaged to be married. Thank you all so very much for all of your very thoughtful and caring posts! Jai Maa now and forever!
