ok latha, here goes ...

 

1. grasp the basic meaning of each verse, in other words, the

english translation.

 

2. near the end of the week, start attempting to chant along with

the cd, and on the last day, do a decent job keeping up [not

expecting great pronunciation yet]

 

3. memorize and be able to write [without looking] in sanskrit this

line that appears repeatedly a verse ends in the stotram [that

unfastens the bolt]:

 

"give us your form, give us victory, give us welfare, remove all

hostility"

 

4. chant 1x day
