Guest guest
How are we all doing on the Kavach .... Here is one word that is repeated over and over again and that word is "raksha" which means "protection". Of course it comes with different case endings in Sanskrit - raksha, rakshen, rakshed, rakshech etc... If anyone is familiar with the case endings for Raksha , it will be great if you can share with us. Well, I am chanting the Kavach as part of this group sankalpa. I was thinking that we should each measure our own progress with our own yardsticks . And I would love to know what each of you hope to get out of the one week per chapter For me, personally, it is 1) Chant the chapter atleast once a day 2) Memorize ATLEAST one verse from the chapter. So at the end of the week, if I am asked what I got out of the Kavach - I can say ..."oh I know this verse ..." 3) Learn as much of the vocabulary of the Kavach as possible . It is particularly suited to knowing the parts of the body in sanskrit . For example - Chibukum means chin, bahu means arms etc ... 4) And personally very ambitious - to get to write atleast one of the verses in sanskrit . What do you hope to get out of the week of Kavach ? Please do share with the forum.
