Guest guest
here is a little story related to our practicing. maa sends me blessings to "be hanuman." so then yes, that i must be. so i feel hanuman come over me like a presence, almost a costume. there i am driving my truck, shifting gears, but i am not only steve, i am also the monkey god, complete with fur, brown compassionate eyes, and crown, armor, tail, and steady will. sometimes my truck even has an OM flag on it. yesterday on my break at work i had a 20 minute walk. hanuman's presence was vivid, along with maa's. when hanuman walks, everything is focused at the task at hand. as i returned from my walk, i felt hanuman actually was glowing with the intensity of his service to shiva and also the goddess. i could even feel the strength of his insides. what was my hanuman mission, who was i serving? the goddess. and where was she? she was everywhere, the universe all around me was her. i was hanuman within the womb of the goddess. the womb was all of HRIM. hanuman-steve walked into the building. as he turned a corner he almost bumped into an older woman. she smiled at me and looked directly into my eyes. MAA. it was so obvious and clear who was saying "hello" to me, it was before thought, it was sudden and certain and joyful. inside the womb, hanuman comes and goes. Guest guest
You always have Hanuman serving Shiva. I thought he always served Rama. But I love your meeting Maa in the hallway at work. Yes!!! She is everywhere. Guest guest
ardis thanks my hanuman is probably misinformed. he seems to serve everyone as the goddess, seeing whoever it is everywhere. steve , Ardis Jackson <anandamama@e...> wrote: > You always have Hanuman serving Shiva. Guest guest
Steve, I don't know very much about Hanuman, but Swami Rama once said that Hanuman was of another race, who somewhat resemble our monkeys. I always imagined that somewhere, perhaps on an insignificant little blue speck on the other side of the galaxy, a solitary Hanuman devoted himself to intense sadhana to his beloved Vishnu. Then one day he was given his hearts desire, to constantly be with and serve his beloved friend and God, and 'poof' suddenly he finds himself in a strange world filled with odd looking people, but in the presence of his Vishnu in the guise of Rama. I don't know how close to the truth this little scenario is, but it makes me wonder to think of it. Guest guest
chris it is my observation we are in a multi-dimensional universe. so hanuman is this, hanuman is that. it depends where we are in space and time, what aspect of the dimension, who we are at that moment. so in a way, if it appears [thought of] it is "valid" in that it self-exists. steve , "Chris Kirner" <chriskirner1956> wrote: > Steve, > > I don't know very much about Hanuman, but Swami Rama once said that > Hanuman was of another race, who somewhat resemble our monkeys. > > I always imagined that somewhere, perhaps on an insignificant little > blue speck on the other side of the galaxy, a solitary Hanuman > devoted himself to intense sadhana to his beloved Vishnu.
