Guest guest
The single wicked light is the first light offered in the Puja. The 5 lights are the first lights offered in the arati. After the 5 lights offered in the arati, we offer the camphor light. , kanna krishnan <kanna_krishnan2002> wrote: > Namaste Lathaji, > > When do we offer 5 lights and when do we offer champhor light and when do we offer single wicked light in Puja ? > > Anybody know what champor is made of ? > > Jai Maa!! > > kbbookbag <karenborak@e...> wrote: > Does anyone know of an online source for camphor in large chunks or > big cubes? Guest guest
When I was asking about camphor, it was in regard to obtaining it for homa use...to make the 3 fire lighting sticks and to put under the logs to help the fire ignite better. (BTW, a yoga center near Boulder helped us find a chunk camphor source.) I wasn't thinking of puja. Best wishes and warmest regards, Karen - Latha Nanda 4/15/2004 1:35:52 PM Swamiji's answer to Kanna Krishnan The single wicked light is the first light offered in the Puja. The 5 lights are the first lights offered in the arati. After the 5 lights offered in the arati, we offer the camphor light.--- In , kanna krishnan <kanna_krishnan2002> wrote:> Namaste Lathaji,> > When do we offer 5 lights and when do we offer champhor light and when do we offer single wicked light in Puja ?> > Anybody know what champor is made of ?> > Jai Maa!!> > kbbookbag <karenborak@e...> wrote:> Does anyone know of an online source for camphor in large chunks or > big cubes?
