Guest guest
Today when I was doing offering incense during puja the story of the deer came to my mind. There is a musk scent t hat comes from the deer. The deer is in search of where this scent is coming from. It doesn't realize that the essence of this scent is coming from within its own self. When we offer the incense perhaps we could say that we are offering the very essence of our own being. Swamiji also reminded that in the Kali puja book there are several names associated with scent. #64 kastuuriisaurabhaamoda-SHE WHO GIVES THE INTOXICATING SCENT OF MUSK TO tHE DEER #65 kasturiitilakojjwalaa SHE WHO IS THE SHINING TILAK OF MUSK #66 kastuuriipuujanarataa SHE WHO REJOICES IN THE WORSHIP OF MUSK #67 kastuuriipuujakapriya SHE WHO IS BELOVED OF THE WORSHIP OF MUSK #68 kastuuriidaahajananii SHE WHO IS THE MOTHER OF THE RADIANCE OF MUSK #69 kastuuriimrgatosini SHE WHO DELIGHTS DEER WITH MUSK #70 kastuuriibhojanapriitaa SHE WHO LOVES FOOD COOKED WITH MUSK
