Guest guest
Namaste All, This week we have it pretty easy huh ? The Navarna Vidhih should be a breeze , if anyone is having any problems with it , please do post your questions ... In the Rsyadi Nyasa and Hrdayadi Nyasa - we use the tattva mudra to touch the parts mentioned in the Nyasa - hold your right hand out with fingers extended. Then bend your thumb to touch the base of the ring finger. In the Aksharnyaas - we dont use any mudra - atleast I dont - can you please clarify Parvati ? Thank you. In the Din Nyasah - this is the most fun nyasa for me - we clasp our outstretched hands in the prayer pose and move the hands and rotate our heads along with the movement of the hands in all the 10 different directions. Sorta like a mini stretch or work out. The three verses from the "om aim hriim aksha maalikaayai namah" to "....parikalpaya parikalpaya me svaahaa" are for the purification of the rosary beads. When we say "om maam maale mahaamaye ...." we touch the rosary that we are (presumably) wearing and hold it with our right hands. I am also creating a separate table in the Database section to hold the vocabulary from this chapter and request folks to add to it. Guest guest
Namaste Latha and all, In the aksaranyaasah you can use the tattwa mudra as previously described below by Latha while you touch or point to the prescribed places. Hope this clarifies your question. , "Latha Nanda" <lathananda> wrote: > Namaste All, > > This week we have it pretty easy huh ?
