Guest guest Posted April 24, 2004 Report Share Posted April 24, 2004 The other thing I was thinking: if the Darkness (night) is Shiva/Kali: dissolution and the Light (Day)is Vishnu/Lakshmi:maintenance...then, of course, the transitional times would be Brahma/Sarasvati:Creation. That's the trinity of Creation, Maintenance and Dissolution (Shristi,Sthita,Pralaya) that is the basic cycle of all life.
