Guest guest
hi all, i added a bio, but alas, i mispelled the word "say" (it is just too difficult) so i need to be able to change that ok. i also like what rosie said about why she does the puja -- it is because shree maa asked her to. this is guru seva, it is not at all conventional as it involves the contemplation and enactment of love via the living ishta deva. so her answer is profound. i declare, if maa said "play softball" i would do that same as puja. now don't get me wrong, i am not a drone or a worker bee or a cult person, or anti- intellect, or not discriminating. this has to do with connection to the guru, to who you believe is the guru for you. think of, for example, a parent's interest in his/her child's interest, etc. we are interested becasue they are interested. it is our interest in them, primarily. the actions are sort of a scaffolding for the form love takes. i didn't read latha's post yet, but i bet that is also very good. steve
