karen and mike,

i typed this in from the devi it is in the database section for this

forum under Asanas:

"Bhadrasana -- Placing the heels of both feet firmly together below

the genital near the anus, and binding the soles of the feet together

below the genital, is known as Bhadrasana, which is very much

venerated by the Yogis."

Hey, Steve...still confused here. Is the one in the Devi Gita, the

Bhadrasana, the same as the Butterfly pose? I think Latha referred

to the butterfly as the Baddhkonasan in the conference discussion

with Devnath. So are the Baddhkonasan and the Bhadrasana the same?

TIA again from us confused ones, K&M

Would you recommend this pose for Chandi Path recitation ? Is it basic

buidling block for our prolonged asana in the future or is it a final

pose for the 2 hours recitation ?

I often see Swamiji ( I might be wrong ) in siddha pose in during

pujas and homas . Is that Swamiji's favourite or usual pose or is it

the ideal pose during Chandi recitation. How about Shree Ma what pose

do she usually sit in ? Is it sukhasana -easy pose ?

Maybe this sequence is helpful for some ;

Beginner - Sukhasana

Intermediate - Baddhkonasana

Advanced - Siddhasana
