Guest guest Posted May 7, 2004 Report Share Posted May 7, 2004 I am really enjoying the cleaning ideas. Here is an amazingly easy way to clean silver, though it really only works for small things. Put whatever you want to clean in an aluminum pan. I use a rectangular cake pan. (BTW, I don't cook with aluminum, just use this one pan for cleaning silver.) Sprinkle baking soda over items. Doesn't matter how much. Cover with boiling water. Let sit for a few minutes. Rinse and dry. It's amazing...and it gets all those little cracks and crevises.
