Guest guest
Dear Tom and Sadhumaa, Thank you both very much for your posts on homa. I appreciated both the very pratical advice (holes drilled in the copper homa kund) from Tom and the inspiration from both Tom and Sahdumaa on the effects of homa. I am planning to begin the homa part of the Earth Mother Sankalpa after the japa for each planet is finished...thanks to you, Tom, I will drill the little holes in the copper kund for better updraft! And thanks to you both, I am very inspired to begin this part of the sankalpa. I go to alot of homas, yagnas at the local temple and at houses of friends who have various ways of building kunds...everything from having priest assistants come over and build one according to the Vedas to using a copper circle, originally meant for an outdoor fireplace, to building a temporary homa kund in the middle of a living room wall-to-wall carpet!!! (something I saw recently!!!). I LOVE homa...it's amazing to think of starting my own homa practice...really amazing! Thanks to Maa and Swamiji, it is much less intimidating than it was when I first began to explore the possibility. Thanks again to both of you for your inspiring posts! sadhvi

Guest guest
Just do it. It is really great. I am in a crunch with work right now, but expect to have more time for homa soon. I find it absorbing and am left wanting more. It does take some time to manage...more than japa. My goal is at least once per week as soon as work settles out. I like the "swaha" at the end as an affirmation of "I am one with God". I like "feeding" the planets. God knows we can all use a break and support from where ever we can get it these days, so if cajoling the planets to be kind helps the planet then Jai Maa!!! Peace, Sadhu Maa , "nityashakti" <sadhvi wrote: > > Hi Sadhu Ma, > Any more advice for those of us inching towards the homa part of > the Planetary Sankalpa??
