Guest guest
I have seen this happen to a pujari with both Kali and Durga. This possibility of possession, is why the pujari makes a yantra on the floor and sits on it....also why he does banishing prayers and uses ganges water, so he is not possessed by any other entity that would like to feed off his life force but allows for possession by the deity he is worshipping. It makes me wonder how safe it is for those attending who are Not sitting on a yantra and purified with ganges water. This is serious business. Jai Mata Ji I have seen certain devotees of Maa Durga or Maa Kali being possessed by either of their deity during worships. Swamiji says it's a possibility. What do you devotees have to say and anyone experiences anything as such? Jai Ambe Maa! Regards JAY DAYAL FIJI ISLANDS. Groups Sponsor / Terms of Service. Guest guest
I've been doing pujas to both Kali and Durga for quite a number of years now. In this I certainly feel the presence of the Goddesses, but it is more like a partnership with them than any sort of posession. I find these Goddesses protective and quite positive in influence. They've changed my whole life for the better. I am glad to have them as a part of what I am becoming. I hope to continue with them for all of my days. , "Jay Dayal" <dayals@c...> wrote: > Jai Mata Ji > I have seen certain devotees of Maa Durga or Maa Kali being possessed by > either of their deity during worships. > > Swamiji says it's a possibility. > > What do you devotees have to say and anyone experiences anything as > such? > > Jai Ambe Maa! > > Regards > JAY DAYAL > FIJI ISLANDS.
