you know :)

...... about how long it takes to chant what type of recitation of the Chandi

......

...... just so the obvious is stated:

it's not a race to the finish -- it's about the bhava and what you do with it to

manifest

Wisdom and Pure Devotion

full cover to cover Chandi usually takes me about 2 and 1/2 hours, and a seeda

pathe

about 1 hour 40 minutes

that's with emphasis on asan and pranayma and a consistent number of verses to

the

breath (4 or 5)

last week was spent chanting it slowing while listening to Swami on the Chandi

tapes (on

an iPod actually) -- and focusing on pronounciation and meaning and learning the

devanagari -- 4-6+ hours

there are many different ways to chant the Chandi -- with samputs, forwards and

backwards, slowly, quickly, etc. -- and there are many many levels of meaning,

bhava and

experience

there is no end to it, fortunately!

only Shiva knows Chandi inside and out and to the extent we dive in we become

Him

this sadhana is totally awesome -- start small -- be consistent -- and add a

little each

month

She becomes your everything and you become Her

Chandi Maa Ki Jai!

talk less, more sadhana

Jai Maa
