Guest guest
In my fledgeling experiences with Sadhana I found something that I wanted to share As some of you know, I took a sankalpa to chant the Chandi and have been doing so with many breaks . But even with all those breaks on my part, I find myself rewarded for just having tried and keep trying. And what are those rewards - Mother is blessing me by making me more comfortable facing my demons . She is moulding me , my attitude , my confidence . She is taking care of my particular demons - it is like she knows MY specific problems (please note that Stevie). If She knows what I need is confidence, then that is what She gives me ... If I need discipline then She creates the situations where I create that discipline for myself ... She is within me, and She knows what I need the most and helps me where I need it the most... That has been the outer or external , 'tangible' benefit I see as a result of even my half hearted sadhana . Internally I find something interesting happening ...more and more I am beginning to trust Her. A sense of "It doesnt matter how much I have done wrong, but the minute I ask Her, She DOES help" Maybe She HAS always been helping, it is just that of late I have become more sensitive to that help and presence. Like Shree Maa said one day, when I asked her what would happen at the end of my 6-month sankalpa , "You will only want to keep doing the Chandi" I am also sorta kinda beginning to get the idea why Swamiji would say 'Give me pure Devotion' ... But speaking from a point of duality, dear brothers and sisters, I know this for sure. If we take a sadhana , ANY sadhana, and keep at it the best we can - we cast our burdens on Her , be courteous and helpful to all, and keep going about our lives, the Goddess helps us and we begin tuning into that help. I dare anyone to try it and come back and tell me if you have NOT been helped. JAI MAA JAI CHANDI MAA
