Guest guest
Namaste Latha and Nitya Ma, I read the transcript and it was truly beautiful commentary and questions on Chapter 6. A comment regarding the mantra Hum. I' ve thought of this quite alot and wondered if Hum also holds significance because it is a bij mantra for vishuudha chakra. So, Hum also activates our voice, illumines our choices and expression of our divine nature through the voice. Also, I think Hum is another way of describing anahata, the "unstruck" sound resonating within. So, if one does shan muki mudra, or the 6-way seal, you might experience the ringing or the Hum of anahata. Is this correct understanding? Thank you! Guest guest
Lynne, As I understand, Hum (Hoong) has the effect of awakening or activating Shakti within. It does not appear as a chakra bija in Swamiji's chakra maatrikaa nyaasa.
