Guest guest
To know more about what a Kushandika means , please check out http://www.shreemaa.org/faq.htm , question 21 . (What is the purpose of the Shanti mantras in the Kushandika? Also what is the literal meaning of Kushandika? ) The Kushandika sets the stage for any puja - the preparation, purifying the objects of worship including our asans and our mouth etc , taking the sankalpa . In the Chandi Path, the Kushandika starts with Sriman Mahaganathipataye Namah (the very first mantra in the book) LakshmiNarayanabhyam Namah ... ... ... And ends with the Shanti Mantras "Om Shanta Dyau Shanta Prthvim Shantam Urdhvam Urvantariksham .... .... Om Shanti Shanti Shantih" Hope that helps. Please let me know if I can clarify further.
