Guest guest
Guru Poornima is just around the corner - July 1st 2004 Can people share what they plan to do on that day? Also will you be interested in participating in a group sankalpa for that day - chanting the Guru Gita ( available in the Guru and the Goddess - http://www.shreemaa.org/bookstore.htm and at other places) If you would be interested in participating - we are looking for volunteers that can chant on the hour every hour. Please write in to let us know your preference of time. JAI MAA !!!! JAI GURU !!!!

Guest guest
I always chant the Guru Gita on Guru Purnima. I also love to chant to Shiva and to my gurus at the fire (I won't have a fire this year). How about 6 am and 6 pm for my chanting times? Love, Ardis "Latha Nanda" <lathananda > Sat, 19 Jun 2004 19:35:19 -0000 Guru Poornima Guru Poornima is just around the corner - July 1st 2004 Can people share what they plan to do on that day? Guest guest
Answering Rajeshwar and Ardis here. -- Rajeshwar On the hour every hour - SOMEONE from the group to be chanting on the hour, not the SAME person. This is similar to the 32 names sankalpa we took last Navaratri where people volunteered for time slots. So here too , you have to just pick a time slot say for example 11 AM PT, and you have to only do it at that time. Someone else will start the chant at 10 AM and another at noon. -- Ardis Thank you for your participation and enthusiasm as always. Can I request you to pick one slot for now ,in the hopes that others from our group will want to participate. It will be WONDERFUL if we can have one different person at each hour, to show their commitment for their Guru(s). JAI MAA Latha
Guest guest
In that case, I'd like to have the 6 pm slot. Guest guest
Dear Latha and Family... I would love to participate and can chant The Guru Gita beginning at any of the following times... 2, 3 or 4 pm here on the east coast (which would be 11am, noon or 1pm Pacific Time). Unless one time fits better for the group, I will plan to chant at 2pm (11am there). love and blessings. Jai Maa. Jai Gurudev.
