Guest guest
Here is an article I found online. It is written by a student from Duke University , who took time to go to India to find out " a little more about life" . He is asking all the questions that I would like to ask , reporting such interesting things like "... one vital pitfall to avoid on the spiritual path and that is that you cannot underestimate the power of belief that we do think the individual is going to attain something. This is perhaps why his guru Swami Chidananda said to him, "As long as you still think you're XYZ, you're no different than any Tom, Dick, or Harry. As long as you think it's XYZ who is going to get liberation, it will never happen. Even in saying it's all God, most of us don't really believe it." He warned me that, "missing this is why for 99% of people the spiritual life remains in the category of a worldly pursuit, and a pursuit which merely reinforces the ego and makes us feel good." Hope you enjoy the article . I know , I certainly did http://www.duke.edu/~cee/paper.html
