Guest guest
Karen and Mike, I deleted your message because if I don't thinks I'm typing in html and runs all my paragraphs together... What is confusion? Its when the mind doesn't understand what is happening, when the mind feels out of sorts, in disarray, out of control, crazy, etc. Craziness is all about the mind. So sympomatic confusion just expresses that confusion is a symptom of the mind. Confusion is a symptom of non-awareness. Consciousness never gets confused. The dual nature of Durga is that she is both the confusion and the slayer of confusion. Those qualities are opposite sides of the same coin. So when we feel confused, it truly is the presence of the goddess in our lives. If we can recognize her, then the burdon of the confusion lifts automatically and we are aware. We may not know the answers to anything, but we are aware of her, and that's what counts. Those who never get confused and are not conscious are doomed to have to find consciousness through another venue. Those of us who are constantly perplexed, constantly asking questions, constantly in a tizzie about our lives are constantly seeing the goddess and not knowing what to do about it will ultimately learn to surrender to her and allow her to slay the demon called confusion because we know it and therefore her so well. That's my two cents. Love, Brian _____________ No banners. No pop-ups. No kidding.
