Guest guest
"One requires initiation into Panchadashakshari mantra to recite Lalita Trishati" Traditionally, chanting of the Lalitha Sahasranam precedes and prepares for initiation into Panchdashakshari...and, after that, one can chant Lalitha Trishati with understanding unfolding. Practically speaking, alot of chanting is done without the traditional initiation into the mantras that are supposed to precede the chants. This seems to be a time of change, both in India and in Western countries. We have access to some texts that have been unavailable until very recently. In my experience, there is some controversy going on about "correct procedure"..my feeling is, if you are fortunate enough to be with Shree Maa and Swamiji, just do what they tell you is right and there is no problem. love to everyone, sadhvi
Guest guest
Here is one verse (94) that stumped me - Can anyone help ? > > Verse 94 - We bow to he by who five functions are performed : > creation, circumstance, transformation, determination and > compassion . (How are these five FUNCTIONS ? Can anyone help ?) I understand this "he who performs 5 functions" to mean Lord Shiva, who exercises the 5 functions of : creation, maintenance, dissolution, obscuration or concealment and grace. Perhaps the translation is just slightly different. These are the five functions of Lord Shiva as described in texts. sadhvi
Guest guest
You mentioned ; my feeling is, if you are fortunate enough to be with Shree Maa and Swamiji, just do what they tell you is right and there is no problem Yes that is the same approach I take too . That question that pop to my mind I surrender them at their holy feet , then I leave to them to do what they may. End of the day it is double bonus for me as I have laid the questioning mind at their holy feet and get whatever guidance from them as well.................. We are truly lucky .............................................. Swamijiki Jai ! Shree Maaki Jai !
