Guest guest
Dear Berijoy and anyone else with a similar question, Glad to know that you are listening to the Durga Puja CD. Perhaps you could start there and ask questions on the puja practice. No question is too small or trivial when asked with a spirit of learning, so please do not hesitate to ask your questions in the forum. We are ALL here to learn and what little we know, we are here to share as well. Anything that is not answered within the group we will forward to Swamiji for his input. So , here is looking forward to your questions - great and small. VICTORY TO THE DIVINE MOTHER. Guest guest
thanks, latha. i am listening and trying to recite as i can but that is going to take a bit, i think. i have read the english and love the translation of the meaning. it's lovely. now there are many things i don't understand in that. in certain places (e.g., page 27--it says "yogurt bathghee bathhoney bath" and other pages have similar things like "red powder, sandal paste,' etc. i have no clue what that means. can you explain? another question: is one supposed to do the whole book each day, or only certain parts at certain times. this is also not clear to me. am i supposed to set up some kind of altar? and is so, where do i find out about that? and what book would you recommend next? almost done with 'before becoming this' which i like a lot. oh, who is the photo of on the first page of the homepage? ok, that's it for now. thank you.
