Sorry about the delay, in the post, between jetlag and the constant travels

from various

homes, to temples, I have not been able to access the Net.

Our journey in the UK was not as We had expected. Our host (Ram) had made

arrangments for us to stay in a local University dorm room, as it had a

wonderful view of

the river. However somehow the Dorm mother had forgoten this arrangment, and on

our

first day, and our first encounter with a Brit, We were deluged with a barage of

anger,

mostly saying we were not welcome. Ram, reminded her of the arrangment, and

after She

varified her documentation, she apolgized. But the mood was allready set. Thanks

to

Mother the next day that was to be repared nicely.

The next day I was to speak at a local Hindu temple, just after a talk on

Bhagavad Gita.

Just after the talk a Devotee (Anand) came forward and asked if we could grant

him some

time by staying at his house. We of course accepted. This was the loveliest of

places, and

an exellent atmosphere. Anand, was the greatest of hosts.

During the day, we visited the local castles, and in the evening we had

satsang, and Puja

classes, with Anand and his friends. This continued for thee days, until our

departure, for

Malaysia.

The trip from UK to Malaysia, was exausting. Because of finances we could not

go

streight to Malaysia from UK, we had to go via San Francisco, as this was our

departure

point. So our trip was from Manchester, England to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, via

Frankfurt

Germany, San Francisco Ca., Taipe, Taiwan, ROC. When we got to Kuala Lumpur, we

found

no luggage. The only items we had was our carry on. All else was missing.

Apparently,

they had missed the connecting flight in Frankfurt, and was being held in San

Francisco. It

took 4 days and endless phone calls to receive our luggage. However as we had an

extreeme case of jet lag, this was not much of a problem.

Next post, Malaysia
