Guest guest
Dear Berijoy, It was just brought to my attention that there is no rule such as "you have to do the puja everyday or offer the offerings everyday" . I am sorry if I mislead you on the subject in my earlier post. Swamiji says that there are no "have to do anything". Swamiji said one does not have to do puja everyday. It is up to the individual to decide according to their time and capacity. It is different if you have a murti with installed life like our deities at the Mandir. Then some puja has to be performed everyday. Hope that cleared things up. Enjoy your puja when you can and want to ! Jai Maa Latha

Guest guest
Namaste Berijoy, There is a time when you would do puja everyday and that is when you take a sankalpa. A sankalpa is a vow or promise. For example if you say I will do puja everyday for 9 days. That time you will want to keep your vow and do what you say. Your sankalpa can be as long or short as you want. Hope this helps.
