Guest guest
Question from Linda : My question for Swami is this: for someone like me, who is in the midst of suffering from a physical malady, how do I detach from my body, which is giving me a variety of painful symptoms; how do I keep my mind focused on God/Goddess; how do I accept my situation and go on each day? Is there some specific practice that would help me? Thank you. Swamiji's response : Continual japa, "What a privilege it is to be part of your creation!" Guest guest
even in misery existence is a miracle. yes it is incredible to be present even with agony. maybe one can scarcely bear it ... only she who is suffering knows its intensity. peace to you linda i pray you get some relief from this pain soon. swamiji's response is interesting. can i comment? here is what i see. the sadhvi. she is with this pain. yet she stands alone, enduring this. her japa is intensified despite her pain. it is a demanding austerity. she speaks with such sensitivity is spite of it. i might guess the rewards will be great. i pray, i pray for great relief and focus for you to emerge beyond this. steve , "Latha Nanda" <lathananda> wrote: > Question from Linda : > > My question for Swami is this: for someone like me, who is in > the midst of suffering from a physical malady, how do I detach > from my body, which is giving me a variety of painful symptoms; > how do I keep my mind focused on God/Goddess; how do I accept > my situation and go on each day?
