Guest guest
I have had the Tattva Jnana CD since April. However, being a computer-challenged person, I tried to use it, found it difficult, and set it aside. Yesterday I found it in a to-do pile and decided to try again. Mike wanted me to print it out for him to read so I dived in. The file seemed to be 163 pages, and it is an audio-visual slide show, something with which I am not familiar. I spent all day (yes, all day) yesterday working with it and lots of this morning. I managed to print pages 1-108 and pages 141-163. However, in between I am encountering all sorts of problems. I have tried manual scrolling, auto scrolling, and even page by page clicking. No matter what I do I can't get those pages to open. I get lots of error messages like: Insufficient data for an image, data error, cyclip redundancy check, a drawing error occurred, etc. None of which mean anything to me. Is anyone else having difficulty with this CD? Is it me, my computer, or the CD? I sure could use some help! Thanks. <smile>
Guest guest
Dear Karen, Swamiji acknowledges the problems posed with the CD version and says that he is in the process of making it into a small booklet . Thank you for bearing with us in the meantime. Jai Maa Latha , "Karen and Mike" <karenborak@e...> wrote: > I have had the Tattva Jnana CD since April. Guest guest
Whew! Thanks, Latha! It has been suggested that I reinstall Adobe and see if that was the problem. I am glad to not have to do that since, with my country connection, downloads and installations take a very, very long time. It will be our pleasure to wait for the small booklet. Meanwhile, we have quite a few pages to read while we wait!!! Again, thanks for the information. The slides with Swamiji's voice are great, and the pictures add a wonderful bhava. And, especially thanks for the Tattva Jnana--it's amazing knowledge!!! , "Latha Nanda" <lathananda> wrote: > Dear Karen, > Swamiji acknowledges the problems posed with the CD version and says > that he is in the process of making it into a small booklet . > Thank you for bearing with us in the meantime. > Jai Maa > Latha > > , "Karen and Mike" > <karenborak@e...> wrote: > > I have had the Tattva Jnana CD since April.
