Guest guest
Hi all, Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings, but it seems there are wolves among the cyber-trees. I have just been informed that someone has hijacked my email address, and since at least one member of this group has gotten several emails from my address that I did not send, it seems likely the individual doing this has taken addresses from this group. These emails have been caught and deleted by the recipient's IP (fortunately). For some time someone has been regularly sending me the beagle virus at my address. It seems likely that same person has now taken my address and is using it as a cover address on more virus emails. Please make sure you scan ALL your mail with attachments, but especially anything from my address (for the time being anyway). Some virus programs automatically scan for viruses in email (Norton and, I believe, Avast!, which is freeware). If you've opened something purported to be from me in the past week or so, you should scan your system immediately unless you're certain your virus protection caught the virus before it was executed. Sorry about this. God bless. Chris
