Translation :

Once my husband arrived home with that red book, on whose cover it was

written " Sri Ramakrishna Gospel " and under the title there was a picture

of the master. I thought to myself, I'm not going to read this book, we were

initiated in Hare Krshna movement and I shall not read other scriptures. But

that book was calling me ... I stared at it, opened it and closed it

quickly, and I said " No, I'm not going to read you. No way ... Until

something stronger made me open it .......... and it was marvellous !!!! I

couldn't stop reading it, it was like I was actually there ... I immediately

put Thakur's picture beside Krsna in the altar, and I knew they were just

one.

>Can anyone out there share what is was like to choose your Ishta

>Devata? How did you go about doing this? Also, for Karen cha Mike:

>what was the process of "breathing life" into the statue of Laksmi?

>Can you share your experience?

>

>Thank you! Jai Maa!!!!! Jai Laksmi!!!!

>

>Love and more love, Lynne
