Bodhi or Peepel is the "Bo Tree", Ficus religiosa.

In climates with cold winters, it makes a pretty good houseplant, but

then wouldn't get large enough to produce wood.

 

Sal tree: Shorea robusta

Could you mean "damar", rather than "demur"?

Here in Kolkata we get mostly Vilva(Bel) and Mango wood. Are these O.K
