Guest guest
thanks latha. i certainly agree, this path is not for everyone, no way. taking the citadel by storm. in a way, that is what this method is. is it right or wrong? i don't know. this came up for me in our last meeting, when we were alluding to the goal of reciting the chandi patah. my self-observation over time has been, it [my personal experience related to in thepost] was not a full path as there was no inclusion of virtues, or as ardis suggested, devotion, although those [yes, as temporary states] seemed to appear as a consequence, as part of that inner-guru-awakening-enactment thingie. i certainly did miss having some a personal guide. i leaned heavily towards the absolute ... the chandi patah has been really great to re-awaken that sense of worship, divine/spiritual qualities, and things proceeding in a relatively graceful manner. even the approach of a method [or as ardis suggested, a quest for a 'state'] is up for grabs. is it legitimate or not? some would say there can be no goals; yets Swamiji refreshingly suggests quite otherwise. wonderful! i love it! so, what is the ultimate goal? is it ever present? or are we constantly re-attuning to it? pranams pranams pranams thank you for considering this with me, beyond mind, yet using tools of mind such as words etc ... s , "Latha Nanda" <lathananda> wrote: > Dear Ardis/Steve/All, > > IMHO, we are all students and we all have different mental, > intellectual and emotional make-ups .
