Guest guest
In Chapter 2 of the Chandi, one of the weapons in the Goddess's hand is the shield of faith. With the shield of faith we can ward of lots of negative thoughts. Shree Maa says that with faith we will reach our goal. Mother Teresa says that the fruit of prayer is the deepening of faith.Could we then say that more prayer and more sadhana bring more faith? Someone asked me the other day, "What gives you faith in your sadhana? My answer was,"an experience of peace." Faith and peace to all! Guest guest
yes. faith is a powerful thing. it is very personal. my 1.2 centavos. it is not a belief, or some particular way of speaking, etc. it is not not speaking either. it is like a solid block or pure feeling and commitment. it is the heart. what is the heart? maybe someone can describe it. some will say, i will be mouni. some will write epoch poetry. some will be the king or queen of dharma debates and, like sankara, spawn temples at each cardinal point of mother india. faith ... faith ... the mother draws me into this, this silence. no one can or should limit this, or the words used to describe this even. today we have chandi path. yesterday you had no chandi path. the day after tomorrow we have the gita. in another universe there is no sanskrit. still there is ... what? all things have their flip side, which is intrinsic to the essential nature of that thing. what is the flip side of faith? doubt. doubt i say, is also faith. om tat sat. i doubt everything, as i believe in everything as well. the faith parv relates to is maa's faith. my doubt led me to maa's faith. i doubted everyone and everything that did not seem real. the inauthentic abounds. everywhere we look, there it is. then this maa, she shows the way, to being human and also divine. who can describe it. it is referred to very nicely in the chandi patah, over and over. what can one say? really, nothing. but if sankara said nothing, where would we be? that is something to consider, without any pre-conceived notions on the answer one way or the other. heart! this also maa gives. baba hari dass also related something good: you can have the absolute without the fruits. in other words, one can be a jnani with no bliss. ah! maa gives the bliss, and the living, the living, in this life, now. words fail as usual. s , "parv108" <parv108> wrote: > In Chapter 2 of the Chandi, one of the weapons in the Goddess's hand > is the shield of faith.
