Guest guest
We are in the last week of our learning the Chandi sankalpa (Seedha Path) and Purascharana. Remember the group sankalpa that we had taken in April - is it four months already ? Incredible ! The key piece of ANY Chandi sankalpa is the Siddha Kunjika Stotram - it is called the Song that gives the Key to Perfection. In the song it mentions , neither the Kavach, nor the Argala , nor Kilak , not even the Suktams , nor the dhyanam - none of these can come close to the Siddha Kunjika Stotram to conferring the true meaning and benefit of the Chandi. Such is the power of this stotram that we are learning this week. In his new book, "Pronunciation and the Chandi Samputs" , Swamiji mentions that there is one kinds of tapasya that involves chanting this stotram 108 times. Maa sometimes recommends people to chant this stotram 11 times. Let us chant this stotram as much as we can this week , and remember with awe that without this key piece, chanting the Chandi is like chanting in the forest - of no benefit to anyone - It says so in this stotram itself.
