Guest guest
> Even in confusion, the Mother is there. ~ Linda Dear Linda and all, Swamiji said in a response to Steve a few weeks ago - when we remember Her in the confusion , the confusion does not exist. ie when Durga (She who removes Confusion) is there, Durgam (confusion) is not there anymore. It reminds me of a saying in the Tamil language - let us assume there is a sculpture of a dog made out of stone. When we look at the sculpture as a dog , the we dont see the underlying stone. When we look at the sculpture as a stone, we dont see the dog. ie the statement in Tamil which can be translated as " see the stone, dont see the dog ! see the dog, dont see the stone" In the same way it seems to me, we can either be confused (see the confusion) or remember Her (see Her in the confusion) . The moment we see Her hand in it all, where does the confusion exist ? Thank you for bringing up this topic. Jai Maa Latha
