Guest guest
A simple way of purifying our minds - gleaned from all my readings and searches on the web To borrow a line from Bryan Adams "Everything I do, I do it for you ". Sounds simple - but in reality I am finding it so transforming. If I am offering my food to the Lord, can I just offer any ol thing ? Of course I gotta make it the best possible way. If I am doing some work, can it be half hearted ? Of course I have to give it all my attention. If I talk to anyone , can I be distracted ? Of course I have to give them a patient ear. When every thing I think or do or say has to be first offered to the Lord, I automatically try to align myself so that I give the very best that I am capable of. I refine my sadhana, I refine my thoughts, I refine my actions .. cos "Nothing but the best will do for you " JAI MAA !!
Guest guest
Namaste Lathaji, it was a great imagination of the song of bryan adams. i was pushed back to 1990s. i was humming the lines ... and as the song went by in the mind, ..look into my eyes(eyes longing for divine grace and providence..),.. the whole song was a good fit, even for the relation between God and devotee. great mail from u., and a marvelous imagination, by making a seamless amalgam between Karma Yoga and Bryan Adams. Jai Maa. aravind. --- Latha Nanda <lathananda wrote: > A simple way of purifying our minds - gleaned from > all my readings > and searches on the web > > To borrow a line from Bryan Adams > > "Everything I do, I do it for you ". > > Sounds simple - but in reality I am finding it so > transforming. > If I am offering my food to the Lord, can I just > offer any ol > thing ?
