Would Stambhana (the siddhi in Siddha Kunjika Stotram) be the same

as pratyahara?

 

Swamiji's response :

 

No. Pratyahara means to bring the senses inside. That is, closing

off external perception. Stambhana fixes the perception inside by

holding the thought still as well as the sense.
