Guest guest Posted August 29, 2004 Report Share Posted August 29, 2004 Dear Latha, I don't understand what is meant by the Guru mantra is the preferred mantra for any pranayam with Chandi or any other scripture. Does this mean we replace the mantras that, for example, we are told to repeat, at various points in the Chandi. Or is it something else I don't know about? Swamiji is telling us that when we are mentally repeating a mantra on the inhalation before we then chant aloud the verses of the Chandi, if we have been given a mantram by our Guru we should use that during the inhalation.
