Guest guest
Namaste ALL, Sooooooo, chanting the Chandi? Same question as I recently asked. Same answer, right? Chanting = participation to the best of one's abilities, right? This can be Sanskrit chanting, transliteration reading aloud or, English reading aloud, listening to the CD/tape, trying to chant with the CD/tape, right? But it needs to be an audio attempt, is that right? Does silent reading count? Namaste, Karen , wrote: > > Enter your vote today! Guest guest
Namaste ALL esp Karen, You got it right on all counts - if you could just make it an audible effort for now, it would be great. Swamiji once said this in response to our efforts - if our children come from playschool with a picture - what do we do ? Do we not pin it up proudly on the refrigerator as a testimony to the child's efforts ? If we as human parents can have so much love and derive so much joy in a child's attempts, how much the Divine Mother will be happy if we sing for Her ? The effort - the willingness to devote those moments in ONLY her thoughts - the yearning to be one with her - singing for her - chanting for her - HER - only HER. Let us focus ALL our bhava/attitude to giving HER the best that we have got. The best will differ with each person's capabilities ... but She is the Mother - She loves the preschooler as much as She loves the ninth grader as much as She loves the Doctor.
