Guest guest
Dear Effie, In "Sahib Sadhu" there is a story about when Swami was staying near a village. The village had endured a long drought, and people went and asked Swami to come and pray/chant for rain. As asked, Swami did, and the rains came, and they came, and they came. All the people left the village because there was so much rain. Then they wanted to ask Swami to pray to end the rain. They had all they needed and more. But then they realized Swami had not left the village with them. Where was he? After much searching in the village, the people found Swami seated at the top of a tree, still chanting. I loved this story, and my recollection of it does not do it justice; I would definitely recommend to all to get the book and read all about Swami. It is a wonderful compilation of stories.
