Here is something that I as a moderator have been struggling with -

how to handle individual thank you's that float in as posts from

time to time.

 

As you all are aware, we have a guideline to restrict the "thank

yous" to individual emails - simply because we want to keep the

posts of general interest to all, especially when we go back into

the archives. However it is natural that we feel gratified when our

posts are acknowledged and appreciated. Here is another way around

to resolve this delicate and difficult issue.

 

I have created a table in the database section - called - Thank

you . Please enter as many entries as you like and update it as

frequently as you want with the names of the people that you would

like to thank and the posts that you would like to acknowledge !

 

I have made a start and made one entry in the table.

 

And before I forget - THANK YOU ALL !
