Guest guest
Hi Effie, Awareness is not about perfection. Perfection doesn't exist. Only consciousness exists. It is good for us to try and do what Maa wants us to do, but it is not necessary or possible for us to be perfect. If we struggle to be perfect, how can we realize her? It's like trying to climb a mountain to be close to God, Its one heck of a tribulation and we don't really get any closer by making it. Unless of course we believe doing the journey brought us closer. That belief can be present without the tribulation. Spirituality is not about changing who we are or realizing some ideal, its about being aware of her. Its about forming a relationship with her and developing that relationship to its utmost potential: union. Nearly everything that surrounds us is deliberately designed by Mother to distract us from consciousness. That is the primary duality. She is deliberately confusing us by assuming all these forms to distract us from her true nature. That is wonderful irony. Only when we choose consciously to desire her more than the distractions will she reveal her self to us within us. The power to desire is ours. She just tries to trick us into desiring her form. When in reality what we are after is her formlessness. It is after we have done all our desires, spent all our needs, fears and lusts, that we may begin to recognize the error of our ways and begin to desire her highest truths. I hope this helped. The subject is difficult to talk about because it all comes from within without words. The great mystics wrote stories to represent these truths. Please ask questions. I love when people ask questions because it makes me dig around looking for answers. And even though the answers are always just pointers to the truth, it still helps me see the truth more clearly.
