yes!

the yogi or business man is obsessed with his own energy;

anyway, the infinite lets him think it is his.

then finally one day he weakens.

ah! not so strong! the truth of the universe is revealing itself!

om ... hrim ...

it is not the good days of ego fulfillment that drives this wisdom.

we are driven to wisdom by ...

our glorious and plentiful failings ...

thank you maa for confusion and suffering.

the boon we asked for 2nite, is, that which you wish to give.

Namaste All esp Kali,

OK ... I am lost and need some help. The Bell of Continuous Tone -

what does that mean ?

Is a continuous tone more beneficial/pleasant than a non-continuous

tone ?

Can anyone offer their insight or suggestions ? Especially any

musically inclined folks.

Thank you

Jai Maa

Namaste

I think of the Bell of Continuous Tone as "OM"....that is the vibration

inherent in all at all times. Awareness of this ongoing tone, this om, is

abiding awareness of the Self, the essence of existence. Also, a bell

awakens us, so the continued awakeness to that Om, that Essence, the Divine.

This is just my intuitive response. I'm in a mood to share a lot here today!

Love and blessings

Hi Latha,

I think it means constant purity.

One naturally thinks first of vak shakti, or the power of sound

vibrations, but I think the conch of vibrations exemplifies this

shakti. The bell has traditionally (worldwide, as far as I know) as a

purificatory instrument; ring the bell and dispell all the negative

influences.

Namaste ALL esp Gina,

Intuition is a great teacher, and I agree very much with your comments

in this posting. I like this, "a bell awakens us, so the continued

awakeness to that Om, that Essence, the Divine." It's wonderful

that you are in the mood to post today because I have derived much

value in your posting. The love and inspiration in your comments

about Lord Jesus in an earlier post was breath taking. I am printing

it to use in my practice.

Namaste,

Karen

WOW... Weapon Of the Week.... Bell of Continuous Tone

Dear Latha and all,

Tho this may not be an explanation that goes with scriptural

tradition - since I have no idea about that, still here are some

comments about this weeks Weapon.

The Nada, the Omkara is the source and substance of the entire

manifest creation. If you get still and listen within you will begin

to hear the Continuous Tone tha tcomes from Mother's Bell. Ususally

you will note it in the right ear. Once you find that Tone it

becomes easier to recognize. As you tune into it your connection

with the Oneness becomes apparent. It is ever present and always

sounding. If you focus upon that Tone you will begin to realize that

it is ringing throughout all creation. Everything hums with That.

So... this certainly is a powerful weapon of the Goddess that is

very useful to bring us out of the clouds of duality into the

clarity of the Oneness.

I will enjoy other insights into this Weapon Maa uses to protect us.

Salutations to the Omkaram

This week, the weaponry for meditation is the Bell of Continuous Tone

which was donated to the Goddess by Love for All. Do you listen to

the tone of your bell, what tone/sound/song do you hear?

Throughout the Chandi and also from observing Gurujis, we see emphasis

being placed on continuity.
