Guest guest
I have chanted many mantras before, but this was my second or third time in chanting "Om Gam Ganapataye Namah" . I chanted with pranayam - 20 times the mantra for one breath. I found my tongue twisting in all strange directions and muttering stuff which had sounded alien and totally unlike the original mantra . Then I realized the problem is when I go from the "namah" to "om Gam" for the next chanting of the mantra - and in the interest of speed was doing "namomgam" and therefore totally messing with my tongue. If I can give an advice after two rounds of chanting this mantra , it would be to pause after "namah" before the "om gam". They kept that full stop for a reason. Here are the stats of our group as of today. I request everyone participating to send me in your updates each day so that we can keep track of our sankalpa. My special thanks to Ardis for adhering to the format that I requested - date on the subject line, Mantra - no of times, Atharvasirsham - No of times.
