Dear Latha and Parvati, I am taking ec's question as an opportunity to ask one of my own. This is for Swami. I would like to know the meaning of the Ganesha Mantra: Om Gam Ganapayai Namah. I would really appreciate not just the transliterated meaning, but if Swami can do it, the breakdown by letter, which adds so much to the meaning whenever I have read something like this from Swami.
